Edward H. H. Garber, Jr., M.D.

Doctor Garber is a graduate of Valparaiso University and received his medical training at Jefferson Medical College . He completed his internship and residency at Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg . He received his certification by the American Board of Surgery in 1982. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Garber recently received training and credentialing in the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedure for the treatment of morbid obesity, and is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Garber is married and the father of three children.

 

Dennis E. Johnson, M.D.

Doctor Johnson is a graduate of College of Holy Cross in Worchester , Massachusetts and received his medical training from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia . He completed his surgical residency at George Washington University Hospital in Washington , DC . Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Johnson served a two-year surgical oncology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia . He also served as a Research Fellow in General Surgery for one year at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington , DC . He received his certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1996. Dr. Johnson is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology. He is currently serving as one of the major investigators in a research study sponsored by the American Society of Breast Surgeons. This research trial is to study placement of a balloon catheter as a means to administer radiation therapy to the breast following lumpectomy for the treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Johnson specializes in the surgical treatment for cancer.

Dr. Johnson is married and the father of three children.

 

John S. Monk, Jr., M.D.

Doctor Monk graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont , and received his medical training from the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia . He completed his surgical residency at York Hospital . He served as Associate Program Director of the Department of Surgery at York Hospital until January 2001, when he became the department s Program Director. He served in this capacity until January 2004 at which time he joined Apple Hill Surgical Associates. He was certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1990. He serves as a Professor in the Department of Biology at York College, and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Dr. Monk specializes in the treatment of morbid obesity. He is trained and credentialed to perform both open and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedures for the treatment of this condition. Dr. Monk is a fellow of the American College of Surgery and the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons.

Dr. Monk is married and has three children. He is active in St. Paul s Lutheran Church and serves with Boy Scout Troup 19.

Steven M. Pandelidis, M.D.

Doctor Pandelidis is a graduate of Haverford College and received his medical training at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey , PA. He completed his surgical residency at York Hospital and served a two-year fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He received his certification from the American College of Surgery in 1993. Dr. Pandelidis is a fellow in the American College of Surgery and the Society of Surgical Oncology. He has a special interest in the surgical treatment of malignant melanoma.
